# Templates

> Save your whole look and reuse it, or try looks from other members.

A template copies a profile's styling, text, avatar, decoration, backgrounds, audio, sections and widgets. Badges stay on the profile that earned them.

**Where to find it:** Sidebar → **Templates**, or [love.rip/dashboard/templates](https://www.love.rip/dashboard/templates).

## Save a template

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create it">
    Click **Create template**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name and tag it">
    Give it a name (up to 48 characters) and tags like `dark, music, glow` (up to 8).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Public or private">
    Turn on **Make public** to share it with everyone. Add a preview image, then hit **Save template**.
  </Step>

Browse with the filters: **Newest**, **Public**, **Favorite**, **Last Used**, **Owned** and **All**. Click the eye icon to preview a template, or the heart to favorite it.

Hit **Use Template** and then **Create profile**. The look goes onto a brand-new [profile](/profile/multiple-profiles), so your current page stays as it is.

<Note>Using a template needs a free profile slot. If you're full, delete a profile or get a profile token.</Note>

## Manage your templates

On templates you own, open the **⋯** menu to make it public or private, change the preview, or delete it.
